Extra large and rare 1 & 5/16" fossil Cretalamna schoutedeni tooth from the Early Paleocene (Danian) of Khouribga, Morocco.  This seldom-seen species is from the same family (Otodontidae) as the infamous C. megalodon and is unique within the genus Cretalamna for having either highly reduced lateral cusplets, or having no lateral cusplets at all.  This tooth is high quality and is all natural with no repairs or restoration: not something that can be accurately stated for most Moroccan otodontid shark teeth.
