A rare Carcharocles chubutensis tooth from the Early Miocene age Jewett Sand of Pyramid Hill, Kern County, California.  A very difficult locality to obtain for the evolutionary father to the infamous C. megalodon!  This specimen is 1 & 7/8" long and is all natural with no repairs or restoration.
