SCARCE symphyseal (central jaw) position tooth from the infamous Carcharocles megalodon. Megalodon symphyseals are seldom lost during feeding, making them extremely rare in the fossil record. This specimen was recovered from a different West Java locality than the vast majority of Indonesian Megs on the market today. A true collector’s tooth. This tooth is 1/2" long and is all natural with no repairs or restoration.

Private Vault specimens are hand-picked from my personal collection, and are stand-out fossils based on exceptional rarity, condition, coloration, etc., or a combination of such traits, making them very difficult to obtain.
