RARE "Synechodus" rhaeticus from the Late Triassic (Rhaetian) Westbury Formation, Penarth Group (Fissure Infills) of Holwell, Somerset, England. This is a scarce tooth (especially with root) of a very early Selachian (true shark). Approx. 1/8” wide. All natural with no repairs or restoration.
Private Vault specimens are hand-picked from my personal collection, and are stand-out fossils based on exceptional rarity, condition, coloration, etc., or a combination of such traits, making them very difficult to obtain.
