A very rare and high quality anterior position Xiphodolamia ensis tooth from the Early Eocene (Ypresian) London Clay (Division D) of Butts Cliff, Creeksea, Essex, England. Lower position teeth of this species are extremely unique in that they only have one cutting edge of their crown! Truly a bizarre extinct shark species. Extraordinary olive green coloration on this specimen. This tooth is over 7/8" long and is all natural with no repairs or restoration.
